Just curious if anyone knows how delivery would be affected by potential layoffs. Recently accepted an offer within delivery, and it seems like they are still hiring aggressively and that they are understaffed. My understanding is that the goal of Eats right now is to grow.
If layoffs happen no org is safe. Some orgs may be completely wiped out, others may have the fat trimmed. It’s not uncommon for every org to layoff people if leadership wants to get a hair cut. Just hope eats is a massive money maker and actually needs bodies.
People cut down on eating out during recessions. They typically prefer more home meals vs ordering out. So, there is limited possibility of layoffs in Eats org.
Why the possibility is limited? Not tremendous?
Uber employees get paid in eats credits instead of cash
I never use eats without a coupon. I can pickup myself for that much money.

Modi is a legend, will be remembered for centuries to come
rest easy, delivery drivers will not be affected
Um, as people get laid off and recession is amongst us, people will have less to spend on frivolous purchases and people will get their own food.
among us?
