Reminds me of Yahoo where they purged the company of most male employees in leadership with Marissa Mayer. Accenture had something similar and a lot of men had to leave. Heard similar anti-male biased pip and promotion cycles in FAANG. Now this one is another company with a woman CEO. Equity is very different from equality. Equal outcomes implies embracing bias in the form of racism and sexism. So no, DEI and "equity" is not at all about equality, in the sense of equal opportunity for all.
As a customer we should keep away from such companies.
This is why we learn statistics in school kids. So we can recognize cognitive bias in people like op and instead make objective hypothesis based on large representative samples of data. More boring than being misogynistic and pointing to 2 people and assuming the 3rd will be the same based purely on gender, I know I know.

A terrible company does terrible things. Considering that there are plenty of other companies where they pay “senior white male hires” way more not to be belittled and discriminated against based on their sex or race, I think it’s safe to say that the only thing this company will accomplish is being sued in court for discriminatory practices in hiring. Racism is racism no matter who it’s against, and this type of discrimination should not be encouraged. TC: 105K
