I bought my first batch of stocks when I was 20 back in 2002 while still in college. I got my first real job as a HW engineer in 2004 and been pretty active in the market since then. Was thinking if I could turn 20 again today not knowing the future what would I tell myself and two Warren Buffet quotes come to mind, 1 - “ If you aren’t thinking about owning a stock 10 years, don’t even think about owning it for 10 minutes” 2 - “It’s far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price, then a fair company at a wonderful price” Basically pick some good companies (Apple, Amazon, Nike, Google, ...), invest in them in set intervals through ups and downs and let them ride until I am 40 again. Curious what other older folks like me would do if they turned 20 again today
