I’m going to just say “hello”. :)
Do people actually out that in their status 😬
If people knew how to use chat they wouldn't need to put nohello in the first place.
What the hell man. Keep the Mexicans out of this
At my last job I just stopped replying to people who would only send a “hey” or “hello.” I was on a cross functional team for a large company that interacted with all the other teams. So I would receive dozens of messages every couple days that would just say “hello” and it drove me nuts. Some people got the hint with me not replying and eventually would type up their entire message
hello
Context - nohello.net
What the fuck??? People actually do that, wow lol. Seems rude AF 🤷♂️. It someone just sends me a hello I usually won’t respond, but I’m not gonna put “no hello” in my username like some basement dweller weirdo.
But why do you think it’s rude? It’s your status not username and mostly folks point to nohello.net which has a very polite message
Idk, call it Twitter culture but it just seems rude to me. If you don’t want to respond to hello you don’t have to. Putting something like that in your status just seems odd and antisocial to me.
I straight up don’t respond if I just get a hello/hi
Same here
Likewise.
They: Hi Me(after 2 hours) : Hi End of conversation. They: Hi, where is blah blah and how about that x thing? Me (immediately): blah blah is over there and x is on track. P.S. I keep slack status as "don't just say hello in the chat"
I’m going to reply you “nohello, and also go to hello”
