Long story kind of short, I am really good at my job and can shit out code like there’s no tomorrow. But I’m really bad at reading social/professional cues (playing office politics). I’ve tried working on it but I just can’t fix it, I think I may be on the spectrum. Anyways I got reported to HR for my communication style and they actually put me on leave for a week until it got figured out. I knew I would be fired eventually so I started applying and landed a role at Meta. They said I can start after I resign from G and get my affairs in order, and the offer is good for a year. They also accommodated my communication issues by putting me on a shitty team that always has headcount open, but at least I don’t have to worry about saying the wrong thing. The week I was going to leave one of the managers sent out an email that was unintentionally addressed to me, about me. Without getting into details, it basically opened G up for a lawsuit on my end. I didn’t escalate it to HR but did make my manager aware of it. Knowing I had my Meta offer and an edge over my manager/skip from that email, essentially making it impossible to fire me, I decided I’ll just be the bad guy and enjoy this rare moment. So for the last 3 months (and potentially the next 8) I’ve just been a huge piece of shit to work with. - I don’t go into the office - I ignore every ping/email I get - I commit on various deadlines and just never follow through with them - I over critique my teams work and unnecessarily escalate silly errors just to piss people off - I send my skip random emails that make no sense weekly, never CCing my manager - I order the team food/snacks from local bakeries and restaurants, but intentionally order something I know no one will eat, so they just have a shit load of stinky food sitting at their desks all day. - For Googlers that I can’t irritate as easily that I don’t like, I’ll secretly order them office supplies non stop, and have it sent to the front desk or their personal desk. So right now I’ve been having a stapler delivered to this one guy daily. So everyday he gets an email saying he has a package and it’s just another stapler and they can’t figure out why they keep being delivered. There’s another girl, who weighs like 100 pounds max. And last week I had 3 monitors placed on her desk. So she got to work the next morning and had to lug these monitors around the office, one by one, until she found a spot for them. All of our work still gets done, so im not going full nuclear with anything. But making everyone else’s day harder over these petty actions makes me feel pretty good honestly, it’s fun and hilarious. 8 months to go unless I get bored!
I shortened it for you ☺️
Fake
What part seems suspicious/fake, people on spectrum tend to be unusual take elon musk for example.
Your stapler story is funny
Lmao. You are good at writing.
Fake or dumb.
I don’t think it’s fake, unusual but seems legit given OP suspects he’s on spectrum.
does blind pay you to write their content
Faker than Kim K
You are not autistic, you psychotic. No normal person would do any of this. Stop wasting your time on bringing others down and put it to good use building yourself up. Karma is a b
