South Asian Female. pretty hot! 🔥 For a long time I didnt worry about age at all. I'm from Kolkata where its not common to go abroad for studies. I studied at a premier college in India ane worked at a MNC for some years before I even knew going international was possible. Wasted about 2.5 years in the process. When I came to usa for my studies I got a full scholarship and decided to pursue my Phd. Didn't have an awesome mentor and decided to leave Phd for Masters after 3 years. One extra year than rest of my peers. I've been in the industry for 5 years now, but most of my peers with similar background is about 3.5 years younger than me. Added to that I work at Microsoft now where most of my colleagues haven't gone to grad school. So another 3-4 years younger. Overall age gap of almost 7-8 years. New joinees are 10 years younger almost. I'm good at my job, good at communicating, and overall look like I must be 28-29. My boyfriend is 4 years younger than me and everything is great. But eveytime I tell my age to someone I feel they are talking behind my back. In fact, more often people are praising me for looking so young etc. When I was a child I couldn't wait to grow up and do all grown up stuff. But now that I am one it just makes me feel sad. I was just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat and what do you do to get over this feeling? I didn't realize getting older can make you feel so sad even when everything else is going great in your life!

Happens all the time! I'm not talking about an IIT or VIT or IIIT. Haven't heard about Jadavpur or Presidency or what?
Also just because you work at Apple doesn't make you premium tier in life. Apple has pretty shitty work life balance and pretty shitty co-workers as well. Some of us value life more.
Can’t figure out if this is a shit post or a brag post or a shitty brag post.
Room full of people who care
And you're telling all this to strangers on blind because...?
Because it's easier to understand and talk about. Who do I talk about it to? My friends who are 3.5 years younger and will only say you don't look like you are 34??
Be confident no matter what. It gets you farther than you think.
Stop caring about what others think of you. Organize your thoughts, be confident and then figure out what you want to do with your life.
Look at Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas ! At 37 she's 11 years older than Nick. Who cares !
But Priyanka Chopra is pretty average. And Nick Jonas is pretty obsolete. I don't really want to be like her or want anything to do with someone like Nick Jonas. Also not talking about marriage in general. That shit is not settled but sorted. But worried about aging and feeling older than people I fit in with.
Also I'm not famous and neither do I want to be. May be a little 🤔 but for writing a book
TC or else...
mid life crisis
Is it mid already! Aren't people living longer now 😜😰
