Impact of big M & A on engineers
I'm being part of an M & A for the first time with Yahoo Verizon deal. Cannot move out quickly due to visa situation. Do you guys have first hand experience with such mergers? There were Aol vzn and lnkdn msft deals happened..were there any layoffs? If so how far it was after the merger? What was the criteria? What did they do with visa?

if you are on visa, these merges are terrible. since the company is another one, it entails redoing the green card paper work. I don't have personal experience , but from someone who went through . these things suck.
