Why no Albertsons?

Cause Albertsons only hires God-tier developers. They after all have two letters in FAANG (both A’s), so this is only natural.

OP, why are you adding Uber in this list? It has slipped into tier 3 unfortunately

I’m surprised Microsoft has the early lead. I was under the impression they are on the same level as Google?

πŸ˜‚ You were under the wrong impression my friend

Wat r u smoking bro ... I just gave a HiRe to guy because he understood the question. I had to reject a strong referral as he couldn't understand the question

Even I managed to get an offer from MS!

MS is the only one in that list that might still ask you to reverse a linked list or traverse a tree.

Whichever that doesn’t have a hiring committees. The quality of hire is just inconsistent in these.

It’s a dumb poll. A lot of these companies, including Microsoft, Apple, Uber and Amazon, interview on a team by team basis and hiring bar varies wildly by team. Some teams will be a higher bar than Google/Facebook’s general process and some teams will be a lower bar. If you are looking for just the name and nothing else the easiest way in is to find a team at Amazon/Apple/Microsoft with a low barrier to entry.

But getting an interview from Microsoft is next to impossible, getting interviews from google/fb is easy though the bar is super high

VMware -;) Sep 12, 2019

So true! I keep failing F/G onsites, but they still ping me back, year after year. But applying to MS looks like sending resume to /Dev/null

Facebook N00bbie Sep 12, 2019

I am not so sure. All of my friends including me easily got the calls. Infact they were the first ones. We used to schedule Microsoft and Amazon in the beginning as mock/practice interviews(coding and design) and for free seattle visits, before our G/Fb/top unicorn interviews. (Batch Yoe 1.5 - 2). That strategy really worked for us.

The answer is always Microsoft
