Include company description/sector on resume?
I work for a quant hedge fund that no one’s heard outside of the quant hedge fund world. Will putting a “quantitative hedge fund” next to my role improve my resume or is that a wierd thing to do? Tc 130 yoe .25

I like to add a line or two giving some context to the position rather than just jumping into the bullets. Especially for the no name companies I was with early in my career.
You should do that. Putting simple description msg also help. For example a hedge fund managing Xxx billion asset under management .
