For new grad Associate Product Manager (APM) positions, what are people's perceptions of whether I should include my current employment that I just started in August on my resume? For context, I graduated from college this past May and I started a product management position in August. I am still applying to APM positions even though I have a job because it never hurts to be on the lookout for other options. However, I only have 2 months of experience at this job. I have not yet delivered enough results to have good impact metrics for this experience, besides product owner responsibilities for a team of ~15 engineers that maintains a product serving <10 internal engineers at my company. My reasons for why I SHOULD include this experience: - I do not want to give off the negative perception that all this time after graduating, I still do not have a job. - There are some outdated experiences on my resume, and replacing those with my current employment will show experience that is both more relevant AND recent. My reasons for why I SHOULD NOT include this experience: - They will question why I am applying to APM positions when I am less than 3 months into my current role. This may give off a negative perception that I am a job hopper or can't commit to a role. - I have not been in this job long enough to have valuable results and impact metrics to include on my resume. Writing this out made me realize that the pros of including my current employment outweigh the cons, but I would love to hear what people think! #product #productmanager
