Modi is a legend, will be remembered for centuries to come
My recruiter said I was eligible to get my GC processes when I start my first day but nothing written in the offer letter. So who knows?
Yeah, normally they dont include in offer letter. If recruiter said that, We can take that.
Actually indeed has a policy of not sponsoring green card until one year of employment
My understanding is this process is started after you work for the company for 1 year.
Sorry for my ignorance but what is GC?
Green card
The general policy is 1 year of employment, your recruiter should get the details of your Visa situation to run by our legal/immigration team
Any chance they start first month of employment? My recruiter said I was eligible for green card when I start. Was I misinformed?
I've seen them make exceptions but I would definitely double check with the recruiter to be sure
It normally takes a year but you can negotiate somewhat. I haven’t seen anyone start their first day but I’ve seen a quarter.
What if I work for indeed for a year but abroad? Would they start it my first day in the US?
Yes they would do that if you started in an office overseas. We’ve extended offers there for that reason before.
