One of my ex-manager is asking me to explore opportunities @ Indeed. It’s a very introductory talk. I wanted to get an understanding of what is the current stock price of Indeed. Revenue profits etc
What tech (C, Python, Ruby, etc.) does Indeed use?
Mostly Java, python for general stuff
LTIPs!
Im curious as well, whats the comp range in seattle for 6+ years of experience
Years of experience don't really matter here initially. From what I've seen, comp relates to how well you do in the interview process. A level 1 at one company can do extremely well and get bumped to L3 here. Flip side is someone with 15 years can be leveled as a L1. Just depends on your performance in the interview. They need to hire a lot this year though, so its highly likely they come at you with a competitive offer - if not exactly what you ask for up front.
Indeed is not public. Look at Recruit the parent company's earnings
Thanks , so how is the compensation structure then? All cash and no equity ?
They have something equivalent to a stock - long term incentive units, the value of which varies on revenue growth and once the units vest it's paid out as bonus.
