Just noticed that Tesla removed the pricing and specs of #Cybertruck from the website. Apparently done 1 month ago, in mid October 2021. Is that a sign that it's going to cost more now? #inflation
What Cybertruck. Edgelord electric Jesus is cashing out. Fanboys will be left holding the bag. Tesla the next Enron
As a middle class wage earner, I am -terrified- of inflation. Forget about a Tesla - we can't afford to pay more for daily necessities. No desire to listen to rich folks exhorting us to just work harder. Those TC increases aren't for us no matter how hard we work.
Well, at least the stock market keeps growing. However, if there is a downside, it'll be hard. Everyone is buying on leverage, those margin calls won't be fun, and might take the whole market down.
The growth in the stock market is part of the problem. People whose wages are linked to stocks (RSU-heavy comp, say) and people with their entire net worth in stocks aren't going to be feeling the inflation as much as everyone else and so there won't be as much pushback against the government as there should be).
Inflation is Brandon
40k CT will never exist
It'll probably only be released in 2024, by which time it might as well still cost 40k in 2019 dollars with all the inflation!
Yea whatβs going to happen to the deposit holders? Will we have to buy at higher price?
1)No real competition to Tesla, their SW stack is years ahead. 2)They have way more orders that they can produce. 3)Brand loyalty They can charge whatever they like and folks will buy it.
Big part of the appeal is certainly the price. If they raise it 2x, way fewer people would buy it. I probably wouldn't.
Well for 2x price they will market a new capability, like VTOL in future SW update and then 2x folks will buy it. Lol
