Anyone here familiar or gone through the Insight Data Scientist Fellowship? I know their applications is closing this week. Any advice on the process? Also feedback on whether it was helpful?
Yes, my PhD is in physics. Self teaching and doing projects is not an issue, it's getting past the non-CS background that's hard. So far I've only been interviewing with tier 2 or 3 companies. I'm hoping Insight will provide entry to tier 1.
Insight does provide good exposure to companies.

Is "From the River to the Sea" So Wrong?
I'm guessing you have a PhD in something other than CS? I feel like inisght might be a waste of time if you know statistics and Python/R. I think it would be more cost effective to self teach and do a project.
