First of all, I don’t have an offer and haven’t made it through the interview process so this could go nowhere. Currently a non-tech L6 PgM at Amazon with a decent sized scope and team under me, expected Q3 promo to an L7. Was contacted by a recruiter from Instacart about a Sr Manager position (also non-tech). Anybody know what I should ask for from a compensation perspective? I know what I’d take…I just don’t want to undervalue myself. I’ve been doing that my whole career it seems. I just received an L6 non tech offer from instacart for ~$330k. Amazon is under-paying you bigly
Thanks. This helps a lot. I knew I was underpaid, but had no idea I was being slapped in the face like this. Any idea what band/title equivalencies are at instacart? Is a Sr. Manager an L6 or L7?
What kind of role landed you at 330 and what was base?
