1 - Stripe employees got robbed, esp. those who joined in the last 24 months 2 - Question is how badly? Just a poll: Stripe's valuation will be slashed by X% on its next round # UPDATE Altcap's investment in Stripe took its last val to $90B+; watch what CEO of Altcap is saying about valuations and markets https://youtu.be/LNTXao9AZB4?t=115 https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/25/business/instacart-valuation.html
I don’t thinks it’s a direct comparison, Stripe should be able to make money, you can only guess until they file an S1, who knows if they’re printing money
Stripe is hiring some VPs from Meta, Google, and Apple. That tells me they’re in a good spot.
Isn't Stripe's competitive environment insane now? Everyone and their uncle in Bangladesh is starting a clone company of Stripe.
Almost invested in Instacart when there was an opportunity. Felt they were overvalued due to pandemic growth and dropped out. Hope they grow out of it and become a leading player though.
They have strong business atleast in UK
You do realize mastercard and visa take a bulk of that payment processing fee and they hold most of the power so they can dictate what stripe gets out of it.
Haha this poll is terrible
