My wife and I run a business that we regularly run ads for, however since February every ad we post gets rejected with no explanation and our personal accounts have been action blocked from liking or commenting on anything. Today we finally got a more descriptive rejection message, saying that our ad violated the “unacceptable business practices policy” (our company does events, which seem very acceptable to me). Being unable to run ads has really hurt our business and is a big hurdle to expansions we have planned. Has anyone dealt with this issue before, or know someone at Instagram who could file a ticket for us? #instagram #instagramads
You can check out the policy link and read the policy. It's written in plain English and doesn't regular a legal degree like most policies. If your business isn't restricted a very small tweak to the ad could be all you need.
I’ve poured over the policy and we’ve made all kinds of tweaks. It’s written in plain English, but it’s also intentionally very broad and vague which makes it not so useful. We’ve also gone weeks at a time without using our personal accounts to try and unblock them based on advice we’d seen online and still no luck
It's not broad or vague and incredibly detailed down to text size. Hit up chat support and they will be happy to help out and clarify for your specific issue.

I’m in integrity. First, im sorry this is happening to you. As others have said, without personally knowing you, we can’t escalate internally. But, since you’ve spent money, you should be able to get access to a sales agent. They’ll be able to help you understand why things are going wonky. As for an Ads Risk review once you find someone. It should be on your account quality page, which you can find links to in your and account manager. Dm me if you can’t figure out and I can try and find the right contact for you on Monday
My ad account got blocked couple years after I stopped running ads 🤷♂️ stating my ads violates the policies. Probably someone pushed an algorithm that didn’t have a filter to block “live” accounts only.
You said something they didnt like, so they are being progressive and tolerant and giving you the boot
Hmm I work at Facebook and I have teammates that work on the ads moderation team. Not sure how helpful I can be though
Is there a review system or way I could get any more info?
I’m not allowed to look up your case just out of curiosity
