Hi! Is there anyone that might be a security researcher at Intel? I have made it to the final round of interviews and I'm more than optimistic that an offer will be extended to me, however, what range of base pay should I have in mind for this position? I have a Master's degree with 1 year of experience in cyber, so should I be aiming for an L6 salary? YOE: 1 TC: 80K #cybersecurity #interview #security #intel
I can't help with your question as I have never worked there. But just wondering how the interview process was? What's your interest and area of expertise. I applied for some offensive type roles but never got a call. Btw, Congrats on making it to the final round. I hope you get selected.
hi! so my process has been pretty quick. the role is considered “new grad/entry level” and it’s located in Atlanta. apparently intel is on a hiring spree in order to build up their Atlanta office. after applying for the position, two weeks passed then that’s the pre-screening interview took place. two weeks later (currently now) I’ve been cleared to their networking/hiring event. thank you me too!!!
Grade 5 is more realistic
6 is more likely unless it was a weak interview.
great, so i do have another question. does intel offer sign-on bonus as well in the comp package?
Check out levels.fyi for swe@Intel. Security researcher had a similar range last time I saw.
will do thank you! ☺️
