Intel GTFO to two MSFT parallel team offers
There is a possibility of an Intel #gtfo to one of two MSFT offers from parallel teams that do similar things. The offers are still in the pipeline so I don't know the numbers yet. I have a verbal confirmation from both teams saying that an offer is being prepared. I know the managers from both the teams and I know the two teams have worked together as well (publicly enough). I wanted to know how you would handle such a situation. Any negotiation tips that have worked for you? Do I wait to tell the teams I have offer from the other team? How can I keep relations cordial with the other team (or if that is even an issue at MSFT)? No trolling-- genuine responses..
Asking Blind folks not to troll is like swimming without getting wet. Is it possible?
Extremely vague question. Are there 2 recruiters involved? Or one? You could play one offer against the other (assuming you get 2, since you have 0 at this moment) but that could obviously backfire. Do both managers know you're talking to the other? I'd tread carefully.
Pretty easy, figure out which team you would prefer, pick that team and be honest and transparent about it with everyone involved.

Take the lowest pay 💰 and you will feel better about the sins and honor your family name.
It’s unlikely the two teams will compete with each other - like someone else mentioned pick a team you like and negotiate with them and be transparent and mention that other team is ready to offer as well but you like this team over the other one.
I doubt the managers will compete for you and risk souring their relationships. As soon as one team knows the other team gave you an offer, they will discuss and the team that wants you more will prevail. It may not be the team that give you the best offer though.
