For real? I thought it was a stable company. Just read the news on Bloomberg. #Intel #layoffs #tech
Stable my ass They layoff every year
Last mass layoffs were in 2016.
I know bunch from Intel. Every few months someone comes screaming their team was dissolved but they end up joining another team in a few weeks after internal search.
Only couple thousands from sales and marketing.
Will be interesting to see if they have learned anything after going from multiple rounds of layoffs over the years, to hiring like crazy, and now back to stagnation.

The end of Backdoor Roth?!
Any non-growing companies lay off. That’s the reality of US companies. You have to try to go to a growing company constantly. Intel has been stagnant for quite some time. AMD caught up a lot. Its future is uncertain. Qualcomm may be the next.
Why do you believe Qualcomm might be next ? As far as I know they are doing quite good.
Snap fire dragon and no innovation. Their AP has not done much of improvement over the last few years. Plus lots of nepotism - similar to Intel. AMD and Nvidia has risen which means other companies have been stagnant.
