Expecting an offer from Intel Munich. Likely g7 or g6 in a SW team. How much should I expect for both levels ? TC: 150k (USA HCOL). Currently working at an Intel competitor. Yoe - 5 #hardware #interview #semiconductor
Yes, with recent announcement of cutting down the cost, I think your TC would not go above 70k€ which is really bad for expensive city like Munich. You can dm me for more points if you need.
G6 is ~€70-€75k base, ~8% APB+QPB (probably less tho) + a laughable amount of RSUs. Around €85k TC. G7 seems to be around 100k, someone posted an AI offer earlier this year.
Is that 100k base or TC?
Germany g7 midpoint is 85k base, max is close to 100k, but below. On top you'll get annual bonus ~10k, quarterly bonus and stock. TC will be below 150k. Like always, there are exceptions - but hard/impossible to get.

My estimate would be €60K to €80K but someone with first hand experience can perhaps tell better.
I that TC or just base? Seems pretty low to me
Base pay. And Europe is indeed behind in compensation.
