I was excited about Pat becoming the CEO, the company wide hikes, better offers from intel, but feels like the same old story with INTC. Meanwhile Pat seems to be so proud of his lobbying efforts for the CHIPS act. Curious to know how intel folks feel about Pat’s leadership.
I have a positive view of Pat so far. I think we need ELT and his staff to up their game.
I would be so happy if intel beats and again. Would love that
Thanks brother
Beats Bob the Beancounter by any measure. That guy had no vision and was scared of any strategic investments.
It is more of PR than reality. Pat can be a great actor in Hollywood as a good dad, coach or any American thing but constantly misleading employees with nice videos and admitting faults only during earning announcements. All these are happening were predicted well before by Citi group, BOA and many other investment analysts. What Intel stands for is to submit to upper grades and say Yes to everything. Many of the employees are delusional because they are so proud of legacy of a different world where no China, Taiwan or South Korea existed as tech hubs. Still many employees believe Intel can turn back. Intel is a cult leaded by Pat, Christry and Sandra. All beautiful white executive panels can be cover of a film 'The Summer Pat Wants to Forget' or 'Digital Titanic'
There is a reason why Twitter emphasizes so much on brevity.
Pat loves to talk and that infected me too.
Soon he will be former CEO.
I think Pat has been pushing many meaningful changes that Intel actually needs since day-1 he became Intel CEO. But I'd say it's difficult for him to make this huge company great again in 2 or 3 years, given that Intel was very bad in 2010s. Let's see how Intel will be in 2024-25. It will be a better time to review if he's good or not.
5 years for a corporate turnaround. Now that’s Intel speed.
Pat is a “nice guy”, stuck in the past.
He is a nice guy, but he took vmw to nowhere. I expect the same with Intel.
Whenever I read Pat , i still remember only Australian fast bowler pat Cummins.
I was inspired to buy an intel chip again, thanks pat
