Regardless of perks and compensation, which one would one pick in Bengaluru? And why? #hardware #semiconductor My TC: ~20base + other components Exp: Master + 2, promo due.

AFAIK, it’s like this. Google: outsources most of its SoC verification activities to Samsung, so probably non existent apart from architecture performance teams that use system c models to see performance trends Intel: I used to work at intel and it was the most clusterfucked SoC execution I’ve seen, 0/10 would not recommend. IP performance teams are better though AMD: no idea Qualcomm: I think you already know. Very thorough but no sense of work life balance and pays well. Bonus: ARM: We’re just starting out to build SoC performance team and it’s centred in Bangalore, so lots of excitement going around
💚 it's not even close. Leadership, culture, and doing work that moves state of the art forward. Google is not a HW company, you will always play second fiddle. Intel is a company in decline, management was clueless for too long. AMD is a close follower company. It's OK, especially against Intel, would be my distant second choice.
I am sorry. I could not understand the first sentence. You mean NVIDIA is the first choice and AMD would be the second best. Is my understanding correct? Please comment on ARM, also if you find reasonable.
Green heart = nvidia

Didn't post as a poll, as I need to understand the reasoning. Otherwise popularity wins, and popularity isn't necessarily quality.
