I am currently L4 non-tech at Amazon. I am hopefully going to be accepted into the Amazon Technical Academy which will train me for an SDE1 role. I am curious if anyone else has experience with going from a non-tech lower-paid role to an SDE role when it comes to compensation. Current Comp: Base: 61k Stocks: 15RSU over 2 years I know I will probably not get any sign on, but do they take that into consideration when providing a compensation package? More stocks than a normal package to make up for the lack of stock? Thanks!
