Internal move from Amazon US to India
Did anyone move from Amazon/Microsoft US offices to India? How did your TC was affected? Looking at the Indian salaries, India is a better option to settle down instead of Canada. TC: $240K, 4 YOE

I haven't gone through this process, but from what I know; your base & any future stock grants will be adjusted to Indian standards. But you get to keep your existing grants. Also, you'll get relocation assistance.
People relocate to India almost always to be with family, if not most folks prefer through US for obvious reasons. Just curious, why would you want to relocate to India if you can relocate to Canada?
Bunch of reasons. People, better quality of life in terms of getting help at home and your money goes long way in India than in Canada. There are really good international schools if you can afford, so apart from the fact that you don't live in the West, you don't miss anything
I'm surprised to hear home help really makes up for a plethora of Indian issues to mention the chaos, noise, pollution, traffic jams and less personal time due to longer commute times. But it looks like the last few things aren't a very big concern to a lot of people apparently 😊
