Internal transfer
I joined less than an year back, not liking the work I do and planning to change teams. Is it too early to change teams? How does my manager take it if I tell him that the work is not interesting to me? Will he try to convince me?

Not too early. Change as fast as you can, for everyone’s best interest. Especially your own.

Change the team asap if you think it is not the right place for your interests and growth. No point in spending years there when you could be working on growing your career. You r manager will try to convince you and tell you about your bright future there. But if you haven't seen things moving in the right direction in the last several months, then very likely it isn't there.
