I've been on a Comcast Teleworker deal for Internet that I got more than ten years ago when I worked in Cisco. $41 for 13 Mbps downstream/2 Mbps upstream. In practice I am getting 25 Mbps, however. I'm thinking of upgrading the speed. But to do that I have to go from this Comcast Teleworker account (which is a business class account) to a regular consumer/residential account. What kind of prices are you guys paying these days? What speeds are available? I can't get this info from their Website... because I have a business class account their system wants me to call them to find out (I hate that!)
$29.99 for 80d/8u. Thinking of switching to 1000d/40u for $100. To find out use vpn or tor, go to xfinity.com in incognito mode (or other ways to make sure you don't send old cookies), and specify that you are exploring the address as a new customer. This way you'll see all current plans available. If they don't let you start a new contract, try making it on your spouse/friends name
Thanks... I noticed those plans have a 1.2 TB monthly data limit. I wonder if that's enough for me? Not really sure. My wife and I both WFH, kids are on the iPad/netflix constantly, etc etc.
120/mo for 1gbps with 1TB cap and basic tv. sf. routinely get less than 1gbps at modem.
Xfinity Extreme Pro+ costs $60 pm and includes cost of their equipment rental for two years.
I know this is a Bay area question, but in FL I pay $65+tax for gig or its $60+tax for 100 Mbps (modem included). No caps.
OP what did you end up doing finally? I’m in the same boat: 12/2 grandfathered teleworker plan from 10 years ago with previous employer that ain’t cutting it anymore and technician said something about a 100/10 standard business internet plan that’s about the same price (40-ish) for certain employers
