Internet companies
So my internet bill went up 5.00 they say if I setup auto-payment they’ll deduct 5.00 from my bill This feels like the equivalent of “pay us 100 for fire protection or we burn your store down”.
Xfinity? Not surprised. They tell me fuck off every time when I have a question about billing and payment. When they fucked my plans and bills up, it’s ‘co-ownership’.
Spectrum I mean if it’s credit card fees I’m happy to pay with a checking account but I don’t want to give them permission to automatically deduct money. I’m perfectly capable of logging in and pressing “pay” once a month
100% That was the hard lesson I learned. I trusted the service to do the legit business, oh boy I could not have been more naive. When I realized a problem 3months after not closely watching the charges, they were like ‘why didn’t you check your bill?’
