Internet providers (east bay )
Any recommendations other than Att or xfinity ? I have xfinity for almost $100 for 800 mbps They won’t give me new customer deal anymore which is currently I believe $50 for 1 GBPs Now trying to get the name changed on the account from my spouse to mine as my employer will reimburse only if it’s in my name (they will reimburse upto $70) .. turning out to be such a hassle to change name as if I change my internet owner name that might effect my xfinity mobile pricing and 2 different departments handle it At this point wonder if it’s even worth going through all the hassle for no better pricing For wireless I pay some $65 for 10 gb .. (5 numbers share the 10gb - 5 of us in our household ) TC ~ 270
Get it in your wife’s name.
It is in her name .. trying to get it changed to my name is proving to be a lot of work as I guess wireless also has to be changed at same time Going to the store is not that easy as they take a long time and wife would also have to come and wait there and her health does not permit her to do so .. I mean waiting there for long
What the f… just make a phone call. Easy peasy. No need to do automatic payment. Just put your name as some random name
Wtf? I’m from canada. We have the highest data costs and only two major companies, and I’m paying like 50-60 CAD for 3GB Learn to talk better on the phone you’re getting ripped off
I don’t think it’s just me paying these prices .. perhaps all are paying something to this effect

Have you looked into Verizon Home Internet, you can get it for $35( 3 years price lock) if you Verizon phone plan.
T-Mobile was doing it for like 25 mo, but these 5g plans aren't anywhere near as good as cable/fiber

Try ATT fiber. Better than xfinity and is fiber optic
I had tried Att fiber once and for some strange reason pages took longer to load (downloading content and watching movies was super fast ) ATT could not figure out why it was taking longer to load pages .. like maybe 2 to 4 seonds instead of milli seconds Moreover if I change internet then I guess I have to change wireless also as otherwise not having it bundled jacks up that price
Hmm we usually have 4 or 5 computers going on .. games and video calls could be part of it .. but what sucks is new customers are getting 1 GBPs for $50 I don’t mind paying what I am paying but when it’s so much hassle to change the name I am thinking why not change provider and get a bette deal
