My friend got a 6 months internship as cloud data integration engineer in sap. He has heard from multiple sources that sap does not convert internships easily. In fact sometimes they don’t convert anyone. I am a bit surprised as they hire so many interns all year round, but then they don’t convert people who have already worked there for 6 to 9 months. Do other people have internship experience in sap? Or know other people who do? Why is this the case with sap?
My friend who was an intern got converted full time but not immediately.. They called him back when the hiring window opened
Hang on to your internship until Q1 when the reqs open up. SAP intern conversion rate is high, but happens at a weird time of year

Asians - what are your thoughts on asian female white male ?
It’s an overall corporate issue, SAP is one of those companies that hires a bunch in Q1 and then slows down hiring to non-critical roles the rest of the year. It’s exacerbated by the fact that it is transitioning to cloud so there is a lot of pressure to keep margins up from the market. Net of it, they do want interns to convert and will do so when the hiring window is open to, the downside is you may get stuck as an intern technically for 6-9 months until the window opens again to hire aggressively. Just look at hiring trends across their various entities on LinkedIn premium, you will see this trend very apparent.
