Hi all, I received an interview request from Amazon about a PM-non tech role in Finance. Would anyone be willing to share some insight into the culture for non-tech teams, the hiring process, and lastly TC for a manager role in finance. TC: 78k Thanks!
Hiring process is well documented on the Net as well as youtube. Make sure you are comfortable with Situational Based Interviewing as well as the Amazon Leadership principles. Amazon is a huge company, some great cultures in departments some not so good. You should tease that out during the interview loop by asking the right questions. TC is variable dependent of Level etc. But if L5 your TC will more than likely be quite higher than $78k
The recruiter asked for expected salary range. Do I provide only base salary? Do non-tech roles even get sign-on/ stocks at Amazon?
you don't have to give a range. but if u do give total. non tech corp jobs do get sign on and stocks awarded
