I have completed my second phone interview with an Engineer on the team. Prior to this I had a 45 minutes phone interview with the hiring manager and also a coder pad coding assessment (90 mins). The recruiter reached out to me asking for a third phone screen. I am just wondering what the normal interview process with Tesla is like. Third phone interview seems very unusual in the tech industry. #engineering #software #swe #firmware #interview #interviews #teslainterview #tesla

Why no one cares about the lives lost in Gaza, Israel and busy in their own lives?
They just wanted to make sure if you’re the right fit and have all the technical skills they’re looking for. Give you an example, after my panel interview with Tesla, I had a follow up interview for that exact purpose. It’s hard to prepare those as they’ll ask you situational questions rather than the typical interview questions
Yes, I do understand that it's to make sure that the applicant is the right fit. I just felt that asking the applicant to go through a third phone screen might show that the company doesn't value the applicants time, and also shows the inefficiency of their interview process to weed out candidates with just two phone screens. I know people might disagree. Thank you for your response.
