Interviewed a few years back with Amazon in Seattle, didnt get any feedback as to why I did not get an offer. Throughout the years I have been reached out by various recruiters for interviews but then they would say "You can't interview yet, since you just interviewed". Fine, recently got contacted by a recruiter, had the first and second phone screen. After the second phone screen the interviewer said i did well and that hr will reach out. HR reaches out saying they will not move forward with my candidacy, again no feedback. Just doesn't seem fair that Im being removed from consideration if i passed the interview, and no feedback.
1. Do not ask how you did after an interview, it shows you are immature and you will get the same answer that you did well. 2. HR will not veto feedback from the interviewers. If they said you didn’t pass, it came from the interview you did. 3. It’s ok to get rejected by one company, get over it and try others. There are a million options out there.
I didnt ask the interviewer how I did. He said I passed his questions and HR will reach out.
The point AWSGemalto making its that you move on. Even if you are right. I was given a verbal offer, and then they passed on me. You can't go and fight with them. Because, you have the next job interview to prepare and attend. Redirect your energy there.
The smart response (from the interviewer) would have been - "I will pass on my feedback to HR / hiring manager, but I am not the one making decisions. It was good talking to you, and best of luck with the rest of the process."
This is not school where you solve a question, get a mark. They evaluate on several attributes. Even if you solved a question, there must have been a red flag that blocked you. Also, based on your post, they made the right call, since you do not show self-reflection.
No worries, you wont see me around. Not going to reply to any of your recruiters anymore. Enjoy your sweatshop.
Aww, someone sounds bitter. Have a cookie.
Large companies will almost never give feedback on your interview. Too much legal liability
This. For the same reason they also do phone calls now instead of rejection email. Seems like they nice and care at the same time, there is no records of any kind

A good interviewer will typically be friendly during the interview - they want you to have a positive experience. In all likelihood, you didn't really pass the second phone screen.
Second phone screen was a code challenge which I passed, figured out the solution with different aproaches and n time.
Look, you clearly have your opinion but the reality is that they passed on you - something wasn't up to par. If you're angry about it, try redirecting that anger towards renewed effort at studying or your next interview. Or just rant on blind ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
