I have an upcoming on-site at citadel. Most of my career has been working at more liberal companies (media, nonprofit, most recently Meta). I have over 15 years experience and I’m confident I could do this role at Citadel. What are some differences I should be aware of when interviewing in financial services? I heard rumors of drug tests and needing to see past pay stubs which sounds really foreign to me.
Is the position in Miami?
+1 can you answer this OP?
It depends on who interviews you. Some interviews super simple, and just test your end to end software engineering. You can get unlucky and get folks that would rank you 2 out 4 no matter how hard you try.
Did you get the job bro
What does liberal have to do with anything
Citadel and Ken Griffin have an agenda most people would not agree with. They have been manipulating markets for a while now too. See the GameStop and AMC pumps
Interviewing is no different from tech. Just have an answer ready for "Why Citadel", because we eliminate TC seekers pretty quickly. Drug test, true; past pay stubs, not so much - why would they care when they are going to pay 30-50% more?
Why eliminate tc seekers? Nothing wrong with it
People with a passion does a better job for the same TC.
