I thought I was going to get laid off from PayPal so I started applying at every company I got an onsite but there’s 0 percent chance I take if I get an offer but would be good practice. Zero chance they pay more than current job Tc 230k
Better to take it. If the offer turns out better than your current one, then jump.
It’s going to be significantly less than current job
Well, then don't take it. You're done with layoffs for this year right? Right ...
Talk to recruiter about comp expectations in advance. They mights surprise you.
my belief regarding practice is that it works to an extent. If its a realistic representation of the interview difficulty and time crunch you would see at the places you want, then its good practice, otherwise, its better to use that time on lc or glassdoor question investigations
PayPal too announced layoffs. Any updates?
