Hi, I have an interview with the hiring manager for Principal PM - Intuit Data exchange next week. Has anyone gone through this interview? Would really appreciate any tips from people who have interviewed for this role before. Current TC - 250k YOE - 9 years as PM #pm #product #productmanager #intuit #dataproducts
What's a typical pay for Principal PM? I heard Intuit isn't big on RSUs
450k total
Interesting, more than I expected. Is that about 50% equity based?
GL. If u get offer, ur TC might almost double
Study Plaid -- their strategy, vision, mission, etc. IDX (the Data Exchange team) is just Intuit's internal version of Plaid. 70% of their roadmap is just trying to reach feature parity with what Plaid already has. Assuming this is a platform role, you'll likely need to demonstrate solid systems thinking and an understanding of generic capabilities that are easy to consume. Good luck!
F..ers they are interviewing 100+ people just for the single role.
Oh, can you please elaborate? How do you know they’re interviewing 100+ people for the same role? Just curious so I can be realistic with my expectations 😊
The role is open for months, I know me and a few people from Blind for this role. HM is basically looking for a unicorn. Just a waste of time.
The hiring manager is very new to IDX. Comes from WF, but the VP of PM is a long timer (at least 6 yrs plus) Unfortunately IDX PM role is just rough It is a role to replace the previous PM who is now at cloud kitchen. (Hint…hint)
Any tips on what to expect in the first round with the hiring manager whose name starts with ‘I’. I’m meeting with him next week.
Also, can you please explain what do you mean by the IDX PM role is rough?
How much should I focus on the case study? Problem area is vague and I cannot come up with anything other than what is implemented already
Demonstrate customer obsession mindset - start your case study with a customer problem, impact it has for customers and business and tailor your solution with assumptions , your hypothesis and how success will be measured
