Interview tomorrow
Thought I did well in a Google interview last week but just got the rejection call. I have an interview with another FAANG tomorrow and I’m not in the right headspace for that shit. Should I cancel and reschedule? Or suck it up and go? I’m in the same city so no plane tickets or hotel rooms to worry about. TC 110k 3 yoe
If you can't perform under pressure or have "headspace" issues from a courtesy call, you might not be cut out for FAANG.
FAANG is filled with insecure overachievers. I think I’ll fit right in.

Last minute cancellation is bad. They probably have already booked a meeting room, and arrange interviewers. Cancelling this late basically waste a lot of people's effort.
Always remember you just need that one YES. and interviews are 70% luck. This is what I keep reminding myself these days. Good luck 👍

Cancel to reschedule might not look good tbh. Cancel if you don’t want to proceed with it is fine I think. There are people who cancel within 24 hours because they simply have accepted another job offer, etc.
Decided not to cancel. Worst case scenario I get rejected but gain more experience for the next round at the next company. Best case I’m done tomorrow.

Failed a google interview. Thought I passed because I did well on 3/4 coding interviews and after struggling for a bit solved the 4th too.
