I hate my f***** life
Skills: python, pytorch, glow current pay:130 k years of work experience 6 years offered: 170k base and 50k rsu is the offer low or standard Microsoft offer
Does it also have to do with I currently make?
Did you tell them? They are not allowed to ask...
I am on h1b I have to give them pay stubs for transfer . Sooner or later they will know. I did say won’t like to talk .
You will be giving paystubs to the lawyers not directly to Microsoft.
Which team?
Azure tools ( hardware accelerator )
You shouldn’t need to tell them how much you are currently making but rather what you are looking for. If they ask insist the amount you are looking for any why.
If they insist you can remind them that it is illegal in California to ask about current pay.
I doubt there is any wiggle room in base. RSU can be doubled . Also a sign on bonus should be there.
Yeah 30k
Is that per year RSU
50k rsu is fur 4 years ?
You could go much higher on RSUs
Please update the post with break down. Also include sign on. As others have already said, if it's 25k/ year it could go higher
With 170k base I would assume this is for a lvl 63 senior position? If so I don't think there is much room for the base to change but RSUs could definitely be increased.
Yes senior software engineer
