I fkd up bad. Had an interview, was confused about the question and how it had been set up, and exactly the context of the code. I kept asking questions and saying I would do it like this... 5-6 mins in and the interviewer just wrote out some of the code said it should be like this said we're done here, we're looking for someone with more experience. Don't want to share the company name right now, but may in the future as heads up

Who cares if you like the ceo, unless you are working directly with them then it’s the people leading up to the ceo that are important
The interviewer should always make sure the candidate has a good experience, that person is just an asshole. Don’t feel too bad
Let me be the devil's advocate here. We don't really know everything that happened there or what kind of questions the interviewee was asking. Does it really make sense for the interviewer to keep it up for an hour and waste their time if he sees in 5 minutes that it's just not a good match?
