I'm in the process of interviewing at Facebook, was surprised how their first rounds and phone rounds require no algorithms. My question is how hard is it to get above M1? I'm 14 years into my carieer been a director, vp, and cto at various companies from 50 people to 500 people. Most times I can pull 300+k in cash plus a few percent equity when joining startups so I worry even if I make it to the end of the interview m1 comp bracket wont be able to match where I am at.
Without saying your TC, there’s no way to tell. Is your TC around 500K right now? If so, M1 can match that, maybe slightly beat it.
Is M1 the mgmt track equivalent of E5 or E6?
M1 is E6 at Facebook and around 500k. M2 is E7 and around 700k.
Tc?
People need to know your current TC to be able to tell you that.
