Have an interview with Intuit for the product management position. Any suggestions?
Look elsewhere.
Why so?
Not a tech company. If you’re 40 and want a pm job with a good work life balance then have at it.
As mentioned, take the case study seriously. We aren't looking for an explanation of how you would solve the problem. We're looking for you to actually solve it. This requires actually going through the product and coming up with ideas. We want to see how you thought through it. The worst interviews are the ones where the candidate says, "I would start by getting to know the product, then brainstorm, then prioritize, then execute." We want you to actually go do that. We don't expect amazing insights given you lack context, but you should be DEMONSTRATING your craft, not just talking about it.
Best interview I sat through, the person interviewed real customers and shared the insights.
Wow, that’s awesome!!!!
Did you get the job?
1. Spend time on the take home. Take it seriously 2. Prep as usual for all pm questions Good luck
