Heard intuit is doing silent layoffs by calling it performance based and rolling it out over weeks to ensure WARN act is not triggered. Is this true?
Intuit has too many people sitting on their hands, talking shit and collecting a big pay check. Some screw tightening is good.
Those are the vp, group manager and dev manager. Seniors and below are the one carrying the company, staff are useless. But guess who gets the blame?
Can confirm, principal architects in my org are not making critical business decisions to drive initiatives forward. I have staffs on the team who have 0 tech skills and are kept because they play the game well—all whilst working 2 jobs. Kudos to him for WLB but he should really be Work Life Balancing his tech skills instead.
Same as adobe
How much was the quota. Intuit folks say they have 7.5%
It's 7%
This layoff is not a normal layoff it's a performance layoff so called but hardly implemented that way where some of the people who even worked hard are put under DNME to save mediocre talent because of favoritism bootlicking and politics . Managers have lot of power who to manage out or who can be threat to their favorite mediocre talent
Are people put on pip or just straight up terminated.?
@hzGD86 I wasn't put on PIP. My manager gave me DNME, told me that instead of PIP he would just "closely monitor" my work for a few weeks, and after that I would be good. However, after a couple of weeks he just fired me even though everyone on my team gave me amazing reviews. Was definitely political.
Sorry to hear this. If anyone reading is impacted, or worried about being impacted, DM for a TikTok / Bytedance referral
Thanks 🙏
Can confirm that it is true. Any legal way of fighting this?
Are people put on pip or just straight up terminated.?
Straight up terminated
Yep this is happening.
Are people put on pip or just straight up terminated.?
I’ve seen both been reported on the internal blind
It’s not a silent layoff if everyone knows about it
Are people put on pip or just straight up terminated.?
Case by case basis but majority was placed in DNME. There’s no chance anyone will get out of DNME
Upper leadership in Intuit has no idea who is good talent and how are they been framed my managers which is really sad and demotivating
Intuit seems like an Indian shop even in the bay area. Hardly found any non Indian SDE. If the leadership turned a blind eye to the very obvious homogenous club that intuit has become then they likely don't care because they can easily find a good SDE from 1.3 billion indians.
Is credit karma now part of intuit? Any layoffs there

Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
Yes they are targeting 7-10% of the workforce into DNME ( didn’t meet expectations) because this year organic churn at the company was lower than usual This is to reduce OPEX of the company at the same time lying to shareholders and showing that they are still growing. No wonders why why stock took off lately 📈 after being flat throughout the year.
Are people put on pip or just straight up terminated.?
Not sure. Any DNME would need to confirm. As of now no layoff but DNME didn’t get stock refresh or merit increase this year. DNMEs also got only 40% of their year end bonus. Humiliating them to leave is the strategy for now. But if layoff happens then DNMEs are first to let go for sure
