Does anyone here invested in Vanguard? I want to invest my money in Vanguard would really appreciate any valuable information.
😃
I have almost all my investment in Vanguard, but just putting your money there isn’t the big question, Vanguard like many other financial institution has tons of possible financial product that they offer you. You need to understand them and make the choices that will satisfy your goals (are you investing for retirement? Do you want to buy a house in less than 10 years? How much risk averse are you? Do you have tax-exempt investments like 401k or HSA?) I suggest spending a weekend on https://www.bogleheads.org which I found a good starting point to understand everything.
Yes. They have the lowest fees on a market
Yeah Vanguard is the way to go. I usually just put as money as I can into VTSAX, since it's a total stock market fund.
I buy vanguard stock on RobinHood. Waaay better app
Vanguard does have ultra low fees. You do, however, need to decide which of their many products are right for your needs and investing comfort zone. They specialize in low fee index funds. Invest regularly, Rebalance, and Kent it grow over time. I have most of my money there. Website isn’t the best if you want to be an active trader, but good enough for picking your index funds.
Only if it's long term. Market goes in cycle so you should be okay with holding it during the downturn. It's all about compound interest and dollar cost averaging!
Thanks! looking for a long term. How much percentage a salaried guy should invest?
Depends entirely on your age and retirement goals. I would talk to a financial advisor to have them help you determine how to invest for retirement. Make sure you find someone independent
