Hi, I have tried to manage my own investments in the past, using the three fund plan, but I did not do a good job at it. To that effect, I have put my money in a target date retirement fund at VanGuard with the idea that I don't constantly think of rebalancing. Vanguard investment advisor reached out to me to propose that I go for managed investing. They would be charging me an expense ratio of 0.3%. I am open to taking it as the expense ratio Any guidance on how to approach this would be appreciated. Should I go back to 3 fund plan to try to boost my returns? Right now bond fund yield performance is not very good so I am having doubts. #personalfinance
A lot on investment management depends on how much are you investing and the time/effort you are willing to put in. I would do 3 fund strategy for decent returns with minimal overhead.
I am a passive investor, so I don't want to spend too much time on it.
