Ireland: Index Fund vs ETF (Exchange Traded Funds)

I am a resident of Ireland. I was looking for investment in index funds. I am new to it. I found few documents and what I understood is, in Ireland you can invest on ETF. There are pros and cons on investing in ETF compared to Index Funds. I was wondering if there is a way to directly invest in index funds. If possible, what is the procedure. Also, is there any docs available to understand in more details? Thanks in Advance. #personalfinance #investments

Put 20% in TQQQ and forget about it until retirement.

Do you mean mutual fund vs etf? Because iirc, there can be index etf. Not sure about Ireland, but you can learn more about investing from various books online. I personally prefer the Boggleheads.

Well, I checked few investing apps in Ireland. It seems only ETF available in Ireland. No Index Funds. In that case every 1) systemic recurring investment is possible. 2) Every purchase would charge a brokerage fee. If my understanding is correct.
