Recently applied after a recruiter reached out. The job posting says that a CS degree or equivalent is required, and one of the questions on the application is if you have one. Is this a new requirement they’re doing? I don’t remember this being a requirement in the past. @amazon

Not always the case. Eg Bill Gates didn’t have a degree. Some people think FAANG requires it because of the amount of people on work visas that DO require a degree, but generally in the past, they don’t require if, for example, if you’re a U.S. citizen that passes the interview loops.
