Is 221g common after visa dropbox appointment in India? Is travel recommended?
Now that random dropbox appointments are available from time to time, I am thinking of traveling for dropbox stamping but don't want to get stuck in India for months in case there is a 221g requesting follow up appointment. Last H1b visa issued in 2016 and expired in 2019. I have changed employers twice since then. Is it better to book an appointment in second half of 2022 to be safer (hoping that COVID subsides and potentially higher appointment availability in later half of 2022)? #workvisa #h1b

Op, visa is a very ‘individual’ thing. It doesn’t matter what the rate of getting the 221g is. All that matters is that it’s not you. 99% or 1% doesn’t matter. The individual matters.
Check trackitt.com for latest trends. 221g hasn't been in the news of late. Hoping things have improved.
