https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/04/23/hertz_accenture_lawsuit/ “Hertz is suing for the $32m it paid Accenture in fees to get to that aborted stage, and it wants more millions to cover the cost of fixing the mess. "Accenture never delivered a functional website or mobile app," Hertz claimed. “
You can hire your own staff for $32m
I wouldn't be surprised if Boeing paid them for their airplane software too.
Accenture is shit. They offered me 3 lakh per annum as TC (6k USD per annum) few years ago. They gave offers to 600 students at the Same time with that TC
It's pretty bad, maybe not for ops work but def for tech work
I got saddled with an India-based Accenture team on a past project and it was shocking how bad they were. They fired a rockstar team from another vendor for these clowns. It was awful.
Accenture is easily the worst company I’ve EVER worked for. They hired me as an entry-level programmer right out of school. I was paid $20K annually, expected to always work 60+ hour weeks, but NEVER log more than 40 hours, because I was legally non-exempt, but they were definitely not going to pay me for overtime. I believe that’s called ghosting hours, and the practice is illegal. I stayed there for a year, just to have something on my resume, and then moved on. Many years later, my salary is now closer to a quarter of a million US dollars. Fuck Accenture forever and always.
I'm the same as this person. It's really the worst.
It’s worst because of the amount it charges customers and the salary it pays to its employees to do the jobs
