Is Airbnb safe for product?
In a comfortable/safe gig now (đ¤), but see an Airbnb product role that I would be very well-suited for. Ignoring the fact that competition for the role will be fierce, is it even safe to join in the first place? Are new layoffs coming down the pipeline? How is company morale/outlook? 6/205k

Repeating above, nothing is guaranteed. And no one other than directors would see it coming. CEO is strong on the story that âwe are leanâ. Internal sentiment is that 2020 layoffs wonât happen again soon because we havenât grown much. People feel down about the stock, but a lot of employees are positive about the strategy
Is there a hiring freeze?
No. But there arenât frequent openings and they are slow to fill
At least one of these PM roles (the relevance one) has been open for a very long time I think
