Is Athena the worst AWS product?

I use Athena from time to time, what doesn’t work for you and what are the alternatives? I’ll just put some files in S3 and then point Athena to those. I don’t want to create an emr cluster or write scripts to load data into a local SQLite database.

I was working there for a few months. Almost all the old engineers I knew were piped/left Amazon, including a few L7
